-- HikaShop version -- : 4.4.4
-- Joomla version -- : 3.10.3
-- PHP version -- : 7.4.25
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Firefox latest
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : Square payment issue

Sandbox mode worked fine. Now trying production payment tests and fails.

Hiyas, have setup and tested in sandbox mode, works perfectly, have tried a few real payments, they fail.

Turned off sandbox mode, replaced tokens etc from square to the production ones. Double checked it all.

Still fails.

Hello,

That issue is probably coming from the fact that the api credentials inserted through your Square configuration payment page via "Hikashop->System->Payment methods" are not correct for a production environment.

Can you check again the credentials you used and if you're still having that issue, can you send us a temporary back-end access via email at tsukidev.contact[at]gmail[dot]com so that we can directly test and debug it ? Thank you.

Kind regards,
Mohamed.

Having the exact same problem.

I sse this in the debug payment log but not sure what field is empty:

[result:Square\Http\ApiResponse:private] =>
[body:Square\Http\ApiResponse:private] => {"errors": [{"code": "VALUE_EMPTY","detail": "Field must not be blank","field": "source_id","category": "INVALID_REQUEST_ERROR"}]}

[errors:Square\Http\ApiResponse:private] => Array
(
[0] => Square\Models\Error Object
(
[category:Square\Models\Error:private] => INVALID_REQUEST_ERROR
[code:Square\Models\Error:private] => VALUE_EMPTY
[detail:Square\Models\Error:private] => Field must not be blank
[field:Square\Models\Error:private] => source_id
)

)

[cursor:Square\Http\ApiResponse:private] =>

Hello,

@jazzmang :
Can you check again if the credentials you used where production credentials ?
If you're still having that issue, can you send us a temporary back-end access via email at tsukidev.contact[at]gmail[dot]com so that we can directly test and debug it ? Thank you.

Yes, I have verified they are the production values.

The production application ID alone has a completely different prefix so easy to tell.

I'll email a login here shortly.

Well, it is working now.

The client sent me a completely new and different set of app id, token, and location ID information.

After entering them, it works.

I'm not sure what they did in developer.squareup.com, but my guess is they didn't save some changes after putting it into production.

Hi,

You indeed seem to have the same error as @jazzmang and he said that after entering the correct credentials in his Square payment method it worked fine.
So it's probably the same problem. I would recommend you to double check the credentials with the Square merchant support and to check that you don't have extra spaces before / after the credentials in the settings of the payment method as it could invalidate them.
