Hi there!

Hikashop has the option to display price with tax and without tax in the frontend.

But I would like to show prices with tax when customer is not logged in, and prices without tax when users are logged in!

Normal customers don't register when buying something so the only people that can log in are the resellers, and they dont need to see tax in the frontend.

Is this possible and if so, how?

Thanx!

Hi there,

You cannot display the no-tax prices for your registered customers without some coding modifications.
However, you can set to your products a second price which will be the non-taxed price and assign it to the registered user group.
So the registered users will se this price and the non registered will see the other one.

Thanx for the reply, I was afraid of that.
Adding more prices is not an option, that would take forever.

The client just has to agree to show with tax for everyone.

Actually I replied too quickly, there is a way for you to do so.
You just have to edit the tax rule you are using and restrict it to the non-logged user.
Go in System>Taxes and edit your tax.
Then just play with the access level to restrict this tax to the non-logged user.

I hope it will help :)

Hi, thanks again for posting.

Will this actually work? I mean, the tax has to be calculated for both shoppergroups, i just need it to show without tax in the productview.
