How do I compare products across categories?

-- url of the page with the problem -- : Localhost
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.2.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.1.5 with Beez3 template
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Firefox 19.0

Right now, it seems Hikashop cannot compare products across categories or sub-categories.

Hi,

The comparison system requires the user to select the products he wants to compare. But there is no "memory" of the compare selection. So you have to display the products to compare in the same page.
After that, you can create "HikaShop compare page" menus and select the products to compare in the page.

We have in our TODO list an improvement of the compare system but there is schedule for the development of this feature.
