product page issues

Hi

I am trying to customise the product page and a few issues as well as questions have arisen:

1. Can you add more than 1 module under the product page?
---> I have selected two modules in 'Modules under the product page' option within the configuration of the product area. It shows the following message after saving:

'Click here to access the display options of the products listing (Related products)
Click here to access the display options of the products listing (Random products)'

However when I view my site, only the related product seems to be showing. Both modules are enabled

2. Is it possible to modify product pages, using modules/module manager/ hikashop options, without creating menus?
---->What I would like is do add a left column of modules beside the product information for most of my product pages, so it is in line with the layout of my website template. My template has a main column and left column. However I would prefer not to create 20+ menus for the product pages just to show the left column.
ie currently:

|
|
|
|
main component |
(displays the product page form/information) |
|
|

however, it would be great to have it without creating menus

|
| display my |
| left column of |
| modules |
main component | | (displays the product page form/information | |
| |
|
If I need to create my own plugin or modify the module coding, would you be able to point me to the files that need updating?

I am using:
- Hikashop starter version 2.2.1
- Joomla 3.1.5
-Internet explorer browser 10

Hi,

Currently you can't display more than one module under the product page.
I think that the best way to customize a product page is to edit the view "product /show_default" via the menu Display > Views.
And in this view, you can use a plugin to load a module in the product page. (loadmodule).
Then manage the html to have the column on the left, or what you want.

Hope this will help you.
