Hi
The thing is that I got sub categories at top level in Categories module. Of course I wish that sub categories shows up when someone click on each category.
Please take a look at the module settings in attached file.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

In the "Menu" option of that screenshot, you need to select a menu item of the type "HikaShop categories listing". The one you selected must be of the type "HikaShop products listing" and that's why you see products and not sub categories when you click on the categories of your module.

Uuuuf! you are right, now I have caterories only, but when I click on subcategories don't show anything!, Oh my...

What can I do?

I edit this, because in another thread you told me that I had to set the menu name there, instead Hikashop Categories Listing. I don't know what to do :-(

Hi,

If when you click on sub categories, you don't see any product, it means that either:
- in your categories listing menu item options (that you can find by editing it via the menu Display>Content menus), you don't have any associated module enabled in the "associated modules" option (normally, you should get a message at the top of the page explaining that with a link to auto create the module and associate it automatically).
- in the options of the associated module of your menu item, you didn't configure it to display the products properly. We would need a screenshot in order to tell you exactly what is wrong as it could come from a lot of settings there.

Uuuf no man, this is a kind of confusing. I went to menu Display>Content menus, and in "Associated modules" option in Details section, I have set "Categories" module "ON"
After that, in "Associated modules" section I have set the same settings I have in Categories module, but what I have right now is another module below the products categories and Categories Module doesn't respond when I click on it!
By the way, the new module that shows up below product categories doesn't work fine neither.

You should NOT selected your categories module in the 'associated modules' option of your categories listing menu item.
Otherwise, you'll get two categories listing displayed on your menu item (the one from the menu item, and the one from the associated module).
As I said in my previous message, in the "associated modules" option of your menu item, you want to have a products listing associated module enabled. Then you'll get the products when clicking on the sub categories instead of getting two subcategories listings.

Okay, I got it. I unselected that module. Now the module below the products is gone, thank you.
However, when I click on each submenu item, dissapears again the left column categories module and any product show up, even thought I did the following:

1- I was checking up the Hickashop demo settings
2- I set the same settings from "Category Listing" to my "Productos" menu
3- I set the same settings from "Categories of Products" to my "Categories" module. The only thing differente is the "Menu" option, yours has "Category Listing Module" under "Hikashop Hidden Menus" in mine I don't have that, and I have chosen "Categories Listing" under "Hickashop Default Menus".

If I have copied the same settings, why is not working?... I almost give up :-(

Edited:
I asociated a module in that option, because of this:

In fact, if I click on subcategories image, I can't load any product right now :-(

I made it!, this thread helped me a lot!

But let me tell you that understand how this extension works is not easy. In fact, documentation don't cover all posible escenarios, the demo neither. But this is an amazing extension, I am pretty sure of that.

Thanks
