List Category Ordering

I have a problem whe ordering the category display.
I have it in an ordered list and it takes 5 columns
the problem is that the order goes from ledt to right instead of ordering it vertically in the columns. example
1 2 3 4 5
6 7 8 9 10
it should be
1 3 5 7 9
2 4 6 8 10

To have the desired display you will have to customize the view, or you can change the order of the categories.
For example:
1 stay 1
2 become 6
3 > 2
4 > 7
5 > 3
6 > 8
7 > 4
8 > 9
9 > 5
10 > 10

Hi Xavier i can´t do it manually because i have more than 3000 names of printers on it and need to be ordered as i told you wich i think it´s the normal way, how can i do it?

So you will have to edit the view "category / listing_div" and before the foreach manage the "$this->rows" content in order to have the desired ordering.

It will require PHP knowledges.

The "normal" way seem to be to order by row then column, not column then row
Like when reading, row then column.
