brand url is displaying only on new products

Where does brand url come from? i do not have any brands, i have selected non on the brand field for the product, i have not filled in any url fields. It is only displaying on some products.

it is blank on my product setup page. But it is displaying in my store.

i went into the database and in the field product_url there were the words Crown Candle Holder (which did not display on the input product page). I deleted them and the brand url is gone. Question is - how did that get there - is it a bug?
