If cart empty shows all products in all categories

Hi,

I will explain briefly how my website works. It is a multilingual website and I am using Chameleon to provide a shop in one zone (IP-based) and another shop in a second zone (IP-based)

I use Chameleon to show one menu item, or a second one, depending on the geolocalization of the visitors. Each menu item is directing the visitors to one of the two categories (product category of hikashop) so they should only see the product category corresponding to the item menu.

But my problem occures when one customer choose a product and decide to empty his order during the order process. Then when there are no items in the order process (and in the cart too) the following page is a list of all products in all the categories.

So It shows products from one or the other category of products, and it is confusing for customer.

I thought that the option 'force a menu item' could help me but it is a global configuration and I have two menu items for the two shops.

In your case, as it's a specific case I think that a plugin will be the solution.
A plugin based on the function "onAfterCartUpdate()", and based on your data redirect to a specific menu in order to display only the desired products.

Hello, im new to Hikashop.
I use translated hikashop so sory if i use non original names of sections etc.
my problem is when i proceed to order process with my cart empty, it shows whole catalog instead of order process. Im confused, i dont understand why. So i want to disable that catalog show and just show ordering proces, disabled to finish because of empty cart.

Do you have an url filled for the option "URL where you will be redirected when the cart is empty" in Configuration > Main > Cart ?
If it is, please remove it or in this field you can set the checkout url. But this will redirect to the checkout every time the cart is empty..
