Hi,
Sometimes a product has a discount.
In the system conf. the parameters for products are:
Price display method: all
Type of item layout: images and title.
So in every product module related to a menu-item both prices are visible.
see attachment 1

Now I've made a new module showing only the products that has a discount. It is meant to be shown on every page and has a different position. Every price-parameter is on 'inherit' Type of item layout: images and title.
So both prices should be visible inside the module. But they don't...
I've tried other parameters but that does not help me.
see attachment 2

Could you help me out showing both prices?

Regards,
Rienk

Hi,

I would think that it comes from the "display discounted prices" option of your module that you can find when you edit the module via the menu Display->Content modules.
So please check that setting and make sure that it is set to "display the price before the discount is applied".
If that doesn't help, please provide a screenshot of that options screen, and provide a direct link to a page with that module displayed as I couldn't find it on your website with the link you provided.

Thanks for your quick answer.
I've tried the suggestion to set the parameters to "display the price before the discount is applied". See screenshot.
But it didn't help.
Our shop is not open yet. So to see the shop you have to log in: boerderijwinkel-ariella.nl/contact/in-uitloggen
user: hikashop
pass: Elwood6807Karl

You can see on this page: boerderijwinkel-ariella.nl/webshop-ariella/brood
that both prices are shown in the contentmodule but not in the 'reclame' module on the bottom of the page.

Hello,
Was this really the screenshot of the product listing content module which have the ID number 146 ? Also, did you add a discount through your products ?

Hi,

Yes, this is the module with ID 146.
And yes, I added discount trough the products.
In the screenshots I send the last time you can see that 'Fries Roggebrood' has a discount. That same 'Fries Roggebrood' is also in the module, but no discount is shown...

Hi,

I don't see why that would happen then.
Could you provide a backend access to your website via our contact form so that we could check your settings ?

Your issue was coming from the fact that your discounts were unpublished.

Hi Mohammed,

As you can see in the screenshot the avocado is published and has a discount (the product with the badge).
But in the module at the bottom of the side - this module shows only products with discount - the original price is not visible, only the discount price... And that's my problem; I 'd like to show both prices in the bottommodule.

Rienk

Hi,

So you have to edit the parameters of this module and for the option "Show discounted price" select the desired value.

Hi,

Ok the price used was the msrp (retail price) one, and not related on a HikaShop discount.
That's why we were not undersanding the issue correctly.

So I edited the view "product / listing_price" and commented the code:

&& $this->params->get('from_module','') == ''
This code was restricting the display of the msrp price only for the menus and product pages, not on the modules.
