-- url of the page with the problem -- : minmobilservice.dk
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.4.0.
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.1.
-- PHP version -- : 5.6.0.
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome

I cannot find out how categories are connected and I just cannot get it organized like I want it.

I want categories in several levels and the product on the lowest level.
This is the iPhone repair categories and products line:
1.st level: Mobile repair
2.nd level iPhone repair
3.rd level iphone 4 repair - iPhone 5 repair - iPhone 6 repair
under eg. iPhone 4 repair I want the different products:
new cover - new antenna - new -volume button

This is what I got:

Looks like this:

That's how I want it.
The second category level:
Backend:

Frontend: Click Mobile Reparationer to see the different mobiles we repair.

That is also right.
But now it gets weird. If you choose Iphone reparation you should see the iPhone 4, iPhone 5 and iPhone 6 categóries which I have created, but they are somewhere else. When I created them I was in the right place according to the category explorer.
All the categories and products I made I can see when I choose 'all subelements'.

Can you tell me what I am doing wrong and what I and doing right? :(

Hi,

You either moved the categories elsewhere, or you something went wrong in the database.
First, click on the "rebuild" button of the categories listing. If the problem is with the database, it will fix the problem.
If that doesn't help, edit the categories and make sure that their "parent category" is correct.

OK.
I deleted some of the categories and started over again. That worked, but when I tried to change the parent category for a subcategori I found that there is a difference between the Categori tree in the settings for Additional Information/ parent category and the Explorer category tree:
Explorer category tree:

Category Additional information/ parent category/ category tree

Can you explain that?

Hi,

This indicates an issue in the categories tree data in the database.
Did you click on the "rebuild" button of the categories listing ? That should fix such issue.
