Hi,

Just upgraded to Business version and successfully imported products from Virtuemart.
Now trying to create a category menu item and a category module listing.
However, every setting that I change is set back after saving.
For instance: I try to set the amount of category columns to 3, but after saving the field is empty.
This also happens with other settings...

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Hello,
Can you :
- Activate the Joomla debug mode ("Administration->Global configuration->System->Debug System/Language")
- Set the "error reporting" option of the Joomla configuration to "maximum"
- Test it again so that you can see if it display an error message which will help you to understand from what your issue is coming.

Hi Mohamed,

Thanks for your reply!

I did as you said and get the following error:
In the column amount field:
Notice: Undefined index: columns in /home/rkas/domains/polydeco.net/public_html/administrator/components/com_hikashop/views/menus/tmpl/form.php on line 107
Now no categories are showed at all....

Hi,

If the saving doesn't work, it usually means a user session issue.
Try to logout/login from your backend and see if that helps.

That error message is normal if the settings of the menu/module can't be saved. Once you save them, the error should not be there anymore and hopefully the categories will display.
If you still don't see them, but that the menu/module get saved, it means that there is a problem with the menu settings and we would need a screenshot of the settings to check them.
