How do you change to a different color image

Hello,

In your DEMO website you have a product (see attached image) where you can select the shoe size and the shoe color.

When you select the the color option the image changes color to red, green, blue and purple shoes.

Could you please give me a step by step guide on how I can achieve the same thing.

I have looked through your demo website, read the documentation but I still cannot work out how to do it.

Where are all the alternate color images kept and how do I link them to the color choices in the dropdown menu.

Your help would be appreciated.

The keyword for this is "Characteristics": www.hikashop.com/support/support/documen...html#characteristics

With characteristics you create variants of a main products, e.g. for different sizes, colors, and the combination of such characteristics (can create quite many variants then!). Each variant can be edited then and e.g. for different colors you can assign different images.

Hello Again,

I was able to set up a product with 4 colour choices - (different coloured images).

When you select a colour from the dropdown menu the colour of the image changes as it should.

The problem is this - when you click on the main product page image, regardless of the colour of the image you click on, the popup of the image is always the SAME ORIGINAL COLOUR.

Any ideas of what is wrong?

I'm using the following:

-- HikaShop version -- : HikaShop Starter 2.5.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.3

Am woking offline at the moment trying to get things set up, so can't provide a link to the page.

Is there anything you can think of that might cause the problem?

If necessary, I'll put the site online in a temporary space at some later date if I can't find the solution for someone to check out.
