Product listing shows products twice

-- HikaShop version -- : latest starte edition
-- Joomla version -- : 3.3.1
-- PHP version -- : 5.2
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : firefox latest

Hallo,

My problem is that on every product listing page i create my products being displayed twice. I ve searched the forum but i do not get the solution.

Also when i tried to save the configuration file i get a 403 error claiming that i do not have the right to access the configuration file.

Hi,

Would it be possible to have a screenshot of your menu configuration ?
Did you create your category listing menu + product listing module with HikaShop 2.5.0 or HikaShop 2.6.0 ?

In fact this is the first time i use your product. I ve been working on virtuemart for so far but i wanted to try sth different this time. I didn't though it would be so difficult. I will send you the snapshots. Do you have any other suggestions for my second problem wit the 403 error on saving configurtion?

Hi,

HikaShop 2.6.0 has been release very recently and include the new interface for the menu/module edition.
Because that feature is really new ; it is possible that it contains some bugs.
That's mostly why I wanted to know if you created your menu configuration with HikaShop 2.5.0 ("old" interface) or with HikaShop 2.6.0 (new interface).

Would it be possible to have an access to your backend so we can check directly your configuration and understand what is wrong ?
It will help us to reproduce the issue, provide a fix and continue to improve the software.

Hi,

Thanks for the accesses.

Regarding your configuration, it looks like you were using HikaShop 2.5.0 when you create your menus.
I can see in your Joomla backend that you have some "Associated products listing for category listing menu XXX" and these modules were created by the previous interface.

So I deleted the associated module for your menu "337" and now the page is display fine.
We are currently working on a patch in order to avoid that issue ; we will create new packages as soon as possible.

I went through this VERY problem and, if you ask me, it's a bug in hikashop.

What I did was blow off the entire installation, clear the cache then reinstalled and when install prompted me to setup products I did used that code instead of thinking I could just simply create a product.

Hi,

The error

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /administrator/index.php on this server.

when you save the HikaShop configuration comes from the settings of your web server.
We cannot help you with that and you need to contact your hosting company in order to fix that problem. It usually comes from a setting of the SuHoSin PHP module.

Unfortunately i have the same problems again and i cannot figured it out.

At the above product page i only want to show the products under the GIN headline and not the rest of them.
But your component keeps displaying all subcategories and the main category.

I am sorry for persisting but i cannot understand what the problem is and what you want me to do.

No matter what i changed the problem was not fixed.

Your component instead of displaying the products of only one category it displays all products.

Hi,

We made a patch for this issue, so please download the latest version of HikaShop from our website and install it over your current install, that will fix your problem.

The solution of the previous message was to delete all the "associated modules" via the Joomla modules manager.
