Hi,
I am using the Hikashop Content module to display a list of categories on my site and have the following questions in this regard:

- Is there any way to add a "active" class to the currently chosen category in the Content Module? I would like the chosen category to be highlighted in the module.

- In addition to the Content Module in the sidebar, I have menu items of Product Listing type in the main menu bar. When I choose a category in the Content Module then the associated menu item in the main menu bar does not get highlighted when the page loads with the chosen category's products. If the menu item in the main menu is of Category Listing type then it does get highlighted. Is there a way to highlight menu items of Product Listing type in this situation?

- In the Menu parameter of the Content Module I need to specify a menu item of Category Listing type. If the specified menu item is of another type then no products display at all in the page that loads after a category is chosen. Is this the way it is - that you will get a blank page on specifying a non-category list menu item?

- Like the way you need to specify a Category Listing type menu item for the Content Module to display categories, you need to specify a Product Listing type menu item for the Filter Module. Am I right in my understanding?

Thanks in advance for your clarifications.

Hi,

1- Depending the context it requires custom code ; but it's something "possible".
2- I do not understand your question
3- Without any context, I'm afraid that I can't understand either.
4- Yes, that's more than recommended.

Please note that 2.2.2 is an old version and we release HikaShop 2.6.0 few weeks ago.
That new release propose a new interface to configure the menu and modules, directly integrated in Joomla and easier to manage (not "associated modules" anymore).
So I recommend you to update to that new version ; it will be easier for your HikaShop configuration and menu creation.
