Hello there

I have one special Menu in my Shop-System where I want to display a category with a Div-Layout, but without Pictures. So far no problem, but, the view looks really strange, with large "gabs" because i only display the Title.

You can see what I mean in the now.jpg attached to this post.

Now, what I want is pretty simple but I cannot manage it achieve. I want large, good readable Category-Titles, Centered and maybe (optional) with a red border around it.

I would prefere to NOT change the View-PHP-Scripts for that because in case of an update, the changes must be done for that update to keep the View-Scripts up-to-date. The other thing is that I'm not that good in PHP.

I also tried a List-Displayer instead of a Div-Displayer. But the List-Displayer is very very very basic. There is no chance to get more than one column (regardless what is setup in the properties). I don't know if this is a bug, but if you "Type of layout" -> List and "Number of columns" -> 2 there will only be a simple bullet list, 1 column and no 2 or more columns.

Please can you help me out of this?
Best regards
Mike

Hi,

Did you read this tutorial:
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/s...ize-the-display.html

It explains how to customize the layout, you modifications can be done via CSS, no need to edit the view.
Regarding the issue with the list type, we don't have this issue on our end, so you maybe have an override or something like that broking the layout.

Hello Xavier

To be honest no, because I thought, that I cannot achieve that with CSS! Then I will first of all read that Tutorial.
Sorry, since I haven't that understandig vom CSS I tought I can only change colors and font by CSS.

Thank you for your help!

About that problem with the 2 columns, I will try to install a standard Joomla/Hikashop an see if there is it okay to find out where the problem may lies.

Best regards
Mike
