-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.4.8
-- PHP version -- : 5.6.15
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome 47.0.2526.106 m

Here is the menu structure I have:

Meditations
--Start
---Business
---Feel Confident
---etc.
--Stop
---Another Category
---And Another one
---etc
--Sleep
---Same as above

Meditation links to the category page that has the Start, STop, and Sleep categories in it. Some of the items that are displayed on the page are menu based (like the header). If I navigate through the menu, the items (like the header) change to match the page. But, if I navigate through the HikaShop display by pressing the category images, the header (and other elements) don't change cause it does't match itself with the Menu. It still thinks it's on the Meditation category page. However, the breadcrumb changes correctly. How can I get the category image links to match the links to the menu so all my menu-based items will change?

Hello,

Some of the items that are displayed on the page are menu based (like the header)

Can you give me more information on your menu based displaying and on the way you have configured it ? Note that your Hikashop product/category listing content menus are also Joomla menus, so you can also adapt your displaying to these menus if you are using modules.

The modules only adapt if someone navigates directly through the menu. If someone clicks on category images the link is different. For example the link for the Stop menu item is

/meditations/stop

But clicking on the image that takes me to the same place is
/meditations/category/stop

I tried removing the category word from the SEF setting, but that didn't remove it from the URL

Hi,

You should use the canonical url option on the categories, that way you will always have the same url whatever the menu / module used.

Didn't even see that there was a canonical field on the categories. All I had to do was scroll down and there it was. Removed the word "category" from it and it works perfectly.
