Hi,

It's working fine on our end.
Here is an example:
take.ms/URIfB
take.ms/l4UhUq
The example was taken from the sourcerer documentation.
Note that we had to deactivate the HTML editor as it is removing the PHP code because it considers it invalid (but that's the same for Joomla articles and other places using the HTML editor). There is an "editor" setting in the HikaShop configuration in order select the editor you want and you can also select the "none" choice to remove it.

The first thing I tried was to turn off the editor. Didn't work, it's as though there is still something in Hikashop that rewrites it. The example you showed me, isn't an example of a script, it's just some php which may work, but js and iframe code does not. Anything between the {source} and {/source} disappears, and leaves only modifiers or intro text. And as I stated before, it works perfectly in modules and articles. Any other ideas?

I managed to solve this myself.
<p>Added Sourcerer to client's site - to use code within articles - but I didn’t realize there is a fail safe in Joomla 2.5 to 3.0 that disallows the use of iframes in TinyMCE. I typically use no editor or JCE so I didn’t realize the default. So I changed the TinyMCE plugin option to allow iframes.</p>

<p>Added video to product in backend. It worked, could view in backend but not in frontend. Turns out I need yet another plugin, AllVideo - fortunately it’s free.</p>

<p>Added plugin, put the simple plugin code into product description: {youtube}video id{youtube}. It works! :) :cheer:
