Fields disapearing

Good Afternoon,

I've ran into something else with the category configuration:

After setting the additional information field "lay out on product page" from "inherit" to " hikashop default" the entire field disappears from the back end.

Changing this setting affects the display of products in the front end resulting in empty pages in the shop. Only there is no way of correcting this since the entire field is gone in the back end.

I've added a print screen with two different categories. One with this problem and one unaltered one.

Can you tell me how to fix this?

Hello,
I just tested it on my end and it worked fine, are you able to reproduce it with another category ? if not, a solution can be to directly re-create the category with the good value.

I was able to reproduce it with all the catagories in "product listing" and also with their sub categories.

Hi,

Thank you for the access.
The problem is that the "type" of the "product category" category had been changed to something else than "product" on your website.
I've created a mass action to correct that via the menu System>Mass actions and now it works fine.
