add several hikashop products in a row in K2

I've used hikashop building a catalog for our fashion products. Then in K2 or joomla articles, I need to insert several products in a row as shown in the attatchment, preferably 3 or 4 items in a row, if there are more products to display in a row, it's better to produce a slide effect(this rarely happen).
I know how to use hikashop tag plugin to insert products in K2/ joomla artilces one by one from top to bottom, but have no idea as how to list them in a row as mentioned above. I think it's better to avoid loading modules to achieve this considering the webpage loading speed.
Is it ideal to modify the hikashop tag plugin, can you please guide me how to do this, I have almost no knowledge of coding. Thanks in advance, eagerly waiting for help!
