Text entry in the list of categories

As I can make the product introduction text before reading more, is displayed in the list of categories.
Product description has read more, if I set the menu option title and description, showing me all the description text

Hi,

If you set the setting to "image and description", you'll only get the text before the read more on the listing.
If that's not the case, it means that your read more tag is not a normal read more joomla tag.
It should be:

<hr id="system-readmore" />
