Product not found page shown when clicking on search result

-- HikaShop version -- : 2.6.4
-- Joomla version -- : 3.6.4
-- PHP version -- : 5.6.28
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome 54

I have come across a weird issue with the search bar.

When I try to search for a variant of a product.

For example:

GAB – main product
GAB12D – variant

When I search the above variant or any others sitting within the product I get the message which you can see in the attached screenshot.

Thank you for your reply.

So the search module is on every page. So you can search from the homepage. if I type anything in the search box and press search the result is:

index.php?option=com_hikashop&ctrl=&Itemid=700

There are no template overrides for the search.

SEF is turned off. I'm not sure what setting for the product you are?
