Product listing with external url instead of product link

Hi there everyone @Hikashop.

As you can see in the page I am actually building for a customer, I have a nice list of all the products of a hikashop category.
IE the GIN PAGE has 4 items in.
What I need is that when the image or title is clicked, the link will take to a pdf download and not to the product spec page.

Is that possible, giving the link for each parameter ?

I mean, in the page, for example :

- DRY GIN link must take to DRYGIN_2017.pdf

What if I would like to add 2 links in association with the image ?
I mean, for example, if I have 2 pdfs to be downloaded and want 2 links ( under the image title ) one for a pdf and one for the second one ?

Hi,

1. Yes, that's possible. Just enter the URL of your PDF in the "canonical URL" of your product and make sure that the "force canonical URL on listings" setting in the HikaShop configuration is set to "Use canonical URL if specified".

2. Then, instead of using the canonical URL, you could create custom fields of the table "product" and of the type "link" or "ajax file" so that you could either enter the download link or upload the file when you edit the product in the backend.
Custom product fields have settings to configure whether they should display on the products listings or not on the frontend. (this will require either HikaShop Essential or Business)
