Hi

I have a bizarre problem,
I have created a simple module - category listing
I place it in 1 position on the home page and it works fine.
I place it in a different position on the home page and it does not.

I believe that we do not need to use associated listing mods any more ?
could you please take a look

I didi find a post in the forum but the link is not working there
www.hikashop.com/support/support/documen...ml#categories_module

thanks

Hello,

Lots of different things can leads to this kind of issue, first idea try to switch to a default Joomla template, like Protostar and see if that solve your issue, that means the root issue is from your template, and so contact the template creator support.
If that solve nothing can you provide a link in order to process some tests and your module configuration screenshot.

Awaiting news from you.

Regards

Hi Philip
thanks for your reply,
I cleaned up a lot of the inactive associated mods - I think it was that,
I restored an earlier version so that I could get on with the job,

but, I might just add that when I updated hikashop, all my products changed to list mode even thought they are not set like that, so again I have reverted to pre-upgrade until I have time to solve the problem.

Hi,

I don't think that they change to list mode. It's more likely that you had that problem:
www.hikashop.com/forum/install-update/88...r-update.html#260059
due to the fact that you had customized the frontend CSS of HikaShop and thus it needs to be slightly modified for HikaShop 3.
