Add wording to store display

I've been trying to figure out a way, using moduies or something to add text wherever it is needed in the store. We need to be able to customize the store display to say things that are not related to the individual products or the cart. For example, there needs to be a note that all shipping is calculated on multiples of 6 items (all items are the same size and weight, and the packaging holds six, whether we ship one or more).

I thought content modules would do the trick, but they only allow things from the store apparently. What are my other options? Is there a hidden article somewhere that I can modify? I have trouble working my way through the tutorials and haven't found anything applicable.
