How to make a product URL just have

-- PHP version -- : 5.5.38

Hello,

I would like my product URLs to just have a product code after the "/".

In the product configuration I have made the alias "00583".

This made the URL: xxxxxxx.co.uk/index.php/shop/product/161-00583-

Where is it picking up the "161-" and the extra "-" at the end and how do I remove this?

Hello,

I think that you had an extra blank character and that's why you got that final "-".
You can edit the canonical URL afterwards in the product edition page : www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/2...roduct-form.html#seo

And for SEF rules, it's in the configuration :
www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/5...ig.html#features_sef

But please not that even if you remove the product id from the URL ; by having an alias starting by a digit, it will add the letter "p" because if it stars with a number, that number is consider to be the product id : so you must not start with a digit.
