Infinite Scroll

Hello,

I am planning to update to 3.1.1 in the next few days so I've tried updating on my computer to make sure that there wouldn't be major issues, that's why the version used on the website is 2.6.4.

My question though is not about update problems but about how to properly implement the infinite scroll for products on the website. As you can see here http://www.les3poireaux.fr/boutique the products page loads very slowly, it makes sense because we are loading all the products on that page, that's one of the desire of my client. One other requirement is that the products would be displayed ordered by category (via category ordering), sub category (cartegory ordering as well) and then by product name. Is it possible to do this while also implementing the infinite scroll ?

Hello,

The infinite scroll is only available for product listing menus.
The current listing you have is a bit specific and I don't think that the infinite scroll is compatible with it.
Grouping the products by category would not provide a good result because if the loading stop in a middle of a category, the next loading will re-display the category title (because it can't know easily what was the previous loaded data)

So if you want to have a dynamic ajax loading for your page, it would be possible but it would require some customization in order to load the categories without the products and create a script to load dynamically the categories' content when the customer look at the corresponding page zone.
But I'm afraid that's not something really simple to implement.
