Subcategories go to wrong url

So I cleared all canonical url's and check menu settings and category settings. They all appear to be the same.

When I go to a category, say 'bags' and I click the subcategory f.e. small bags the mainmenu item BAGS stays active. That work well througout the whole website, but one category (Meubelen) does not do that.

So when I go to meubelen -joomla- url = /meubelen (canonical (hikashop) = /categorie/meubelen).

When I click a subcategory in meubelen I get /categorie/retro-fauteuils instead of the expected /meubelen/categorie/retro-fauteuils (Like all other categories and subcategories do)

Any suggestion what goes wrong and what I'm missing. I really can't find it.

Secondly I would like when people click the joomla menu to slect a category ( MEUBELEN f.e.) that the menu change color. But when I click any main category form the listing on front of the site the menu is not active. It becomes active again after I click a subcategory. Except for meubelen, but that's related to the problem above.

Aa mentioned, all settings look the same (as far as I'm aware). See image.

EDIT:
I finally found it , it was the canonical URL in the subcategories of meubelen. They where not 'cleaned' with the mass action. So clearing those fields manually solved the issue.

So Only thing I still want is that if people on the homepage if they click an image instead of the menu on the left go to f.e. /meubelen instead of /categorie/meubelen
I guess I have to manually change the main category items by hand to make this work as I want.
