Simple to add a price. I did an Internet search and some other people had/have the same problem.
This system won't let me paste from my clipboard. Can't show you a screen shot.
So, I can only explain it as:

Under Products and a product selected:

"RICES AND TAXES"
Tax Category : "Default tax category"
Retail Price : 5.000000 $ USD


That's all there is.

Under "Price Restrictions" I added the price with and without the tax included but it will not let me save it. I took the Retail price off and still nothing. I've tried everything. This system as errors just like OpenCart which I've been working with for over a month and can't get an online store working. .

I think I was able to add two screen shots in a DOC file.

Please help. Business if failing because I can't get an Online Store to work.

Yes. I know that. You evidently didn't read the post after that one. And there should have been a screen shot on a Microsoft Word File I attached. If not, there is one two attached to this message.

When I add the price into the window for adding restrictions, by using the PLUS sign, it will not let me save it. And I can't cancel. I can only click on some other dropdown menu to exit out after adding a price. .

Remember, my add price screen looks NOTHING like the one in the link you sent me. See the screenshot I sent.

I came to the conclusion that Hikashop does not work with Joomla 2.5. If you can't add a price, it's no good.

I updated to Joomla 3.7 and no change in the Product page. Show exactly the same as that screenshot I sent.

To answer your questions:
1)I have two products entered. I can NOT add a price. There is no place to add a price. See Screenshot.

2) Don't know what you are talking about when you say "Did you try to check your browser JS console?"

3) "Price only shows FREE" is a title. Not an explanation. - I explained it later in the posts. I though you would know what the problem was as I did a Google search and other people had the same problem.

I was right. Hikashop did not work with Joomla 2.5. I did the lengthy major update from 2.5 to 3.7 and THAT was the problem. NOW there's a place to add a price. And I can click save and my additions/changes are saved.

Finally got it working after updating to Joomla 3.7.

Ah. Now the problem is I don't have a link to go to checkout or even know how to get on. I can either have the Shopping Cart shown or not shown. Either way, there's no way to go to Checkout. And the Help Documentation is of no use. I type in Checkout or Shopping Cart and all it does is show a list of Tutorials, which does not list what I'm looking for. Why can't people make User Manuals or Help Documentation user friendly. - And I'm still trying to figure out how to get the ($n.nn excl VAT) removed or changed to my tax rate as the after tax price. The PRICE and PRICE WITH TAX doesn't work. Upon saving, they are changed to be the same.
