Show products fra same brand on product page - issue: it show all brands

Hi, I would like to show products from the same brand in the bottom of the product page.... But ir show all brands

I have done this.

Made a content module ad set following parameters as this.

Type of content: Products

Main Category: Brand

Sub element filter: All sub elements - have also tried direct sub elements but the then modules shows nothing

Menu: None

Related products: NO

And in Product data display

Relation: From same brand

In configuration-> Product options- Modules under the product page, i have choose the module i made

The brand is publish and can been seen under specifications

Hello,

When you post in our forum ; please fill the fields about your website and the HikaShop version number.
Otherwise, the first question that we will ask you would be about your website and your HikaShop number.

But luckily for you, we do not need to ask you that question for this specific post.
There is no option to display products of the same brand in an HikaShop content module even in the latest HikaShop releases.
The setting to "synchronize" allow to sync the listing depending the current category or with the current vendor (if the module is displayed understand a vendor page).
If you want to sync with the brand ; it would require some customization (override of view or development of a custom plugin).

Thanks for you reply,

A pitty that it not possible to show product iterms from the same brand, you say it will demand some customization do you have and idea abot the "volume/size" of the customization is it large, medium or small - easy or hard :-) and could you recommend some there can make it ( some one there know Hika Shop)

However sometime there can be a workaround to solve the issue due to there not are so many brands to be handled. Are they such workaround.

Hello,

Because the feature is not available in HikaShop ; I can add your request in the TODO list.
My answer was mostly to allow you to perform your task with the current HikaShop packages.

It would be possible thanks to a custom plugin to interact with the loading of products for a specific "module"

By changing the different variables (the filters), you can change how the products are loaded and you should be able to get your specific features to create a module which will display the products of the same brand.

Afterwards, there is for sure other elements to manage, it's not a tiny development but it's not a huge one either.
You can find "sample code" in HikaMarket for example ; like I wrote in my previous message, HikaMarket already implement the feature to filter the products display under the vendor page to only display products of the same vendor. It is globally the same kind of development that you want to do but with the manufactures (and based on the displayed product and not the displayed vendor).

Perhaps there could be a solution to what you are writing.

In my solution, each brand is only used by a vendor (one vendor one brand), would it be possible to display products from the same vendor in botton at the product page?

If so, how ?

Okay !
So you can use the setting "Filter same vendor" which is available in the product listing modules under the section "Product features display".
It should give you the result you want.

Thanks for the tip it works, however i du have some issues regaring module class suffix, i do not take it ( eg. a title suffix ) and suffix

module suffix is set to product-carousel title-border3

The display of the "bar" and the pagination is made by your template (via an override).
It's not something coming from the HikaShop official views.
So we are not able to help you since it's not the code we develop and we do not have any knowledge on it ; I'm afraid that we cannot provide support for such customized code.

Hello,

You've probably correct in your assumption, but it just wonder me that I can show the same module on a standard module position without the sort bar and pagination and it uses the correct module class suffix.

You can see it is here

The first module is activated in the configuration->display->Product options->Modules under the product page

An last on the page is a copy of the same module, placed in a normal module position

I don't follow you, what is your point ?
As Jerome said there is some override view inside some HikaShop View and as this customize code isn't our, help you is difficult and by the way it's not our job.
