Multiple Variants

I can add 2 variants, but I cannot add 3, it just "blanks" - nothing -

I sent a link to a file on the server with all the screenshots, and saved web pages of the data requested?
the link was in the email ?

sorry about te delayed reply.

I created a characteristic as I have many times before.
The only difference was that this characteristic had a lot of variables, 22
I made this characteristic (as you have seen) x 1 x 2 x 3 using the same information each time.
I added it all to the product, and it just froze up.

I could not do anything, not delete, not remove, nothing.
I created another product,
using the same characteristics tried to add only 2 variables each time - 1 - 2 - 3
blank result
I went to the front of the site and got some crazy line of error ..

I had to use phpadmin to remove the previous product.

it seems to be working now , and so I am completely puzzled what happened, or why.
