Different custom fields for different variants

I think it is not possible yet, but maybe an option for the next update:
I like to have different custom fields for different variants of a product. In my case, I produce jingles for radiostations. Customers can type their own text with standard a maximum of 50 characters. But when they want a longer text I like to offer a variant with a maximum of 100 characters for a higher price. In that case the text field with max 50 chars has to be replaced with a text field of 100 chars.
I hoped that I could select the certain variant at "Restrictions > Product", but I saw that it's not possible.
An other option could be to have the possibility to set restrictions not only to categories or products, but also to characteristics or brands.

If there is an other way to have other custom fields for different variants, I like to hear that. Otherwise I hope this option will be there in a future update.

A different way to count higher prices for longer text can be a certain price per character or a price per 50 characters, but I think that would be more complex and less interesting for most Hikeshop users.

(At musicradiocreative.com/radio/builder/ I found a shop where they have a word counter instead of a character counter. When you use more than 11 words, the price raises automatic. That's great!)
