Category not displaying correct content

-- HikaShop version -- : 3.2.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.8.1
-- PHP version -- : 7.0.24
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : chrome 61.0.3163.100
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : None

Hi,

I have one part of the category tree that's not displaying the correct content. The menu links and category navigation for "Flooring Tools" all point to:
dev.ces-hire.com/shop/tools/flooring-tools

But this returns a default view of the top level of the shop and not this category.

When I manually enter dev.ces-hire.com/shop/flooring-tools i get to the correct content. have tried moving the category and rebuilding the database etc. and even changing/removing the Canonical URL but it makes no difference.


Can you suggest any other actions please?

In order to better understand the situation, can you provide these elements :
- A screenshot of the category three (that show clearly the situation of your concerned category)
- A screenshot of your Item Menu Configuration.
- any elements, that can give more elements about situation and context.

Hello,

You created a specific menu for "Flooring tools" but in the configuration of that menu, you did not select any category.
Please take a look at your screenshot for the one regarding the "category option" one ; there is no selected category for the setting "main category".
