Always show /shop in the url

-- HikaShop version -- : 3.2.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.8.1
-- PHP version -- : 5.6.3
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Firefox latest

Hi,
I would like all products and categories to have the url beginning /shop/. e.g.:

/shop/category1
/shop/category2
/shop/category3
etc.

This works fine when I have product categories in the 2nd level of my navigation menu under a parent menu item called "shop" (so Parent Item ="shop"). However, I require the navigation menu to have the product categories in the 1st level of the menu (so Parent item= "menu item root").

Is their any way to accomplish this. Obviously I could create a hidden menu with the correct hierarchy, and have my navigation menu as alias of this - but it seems a little like a fudge, and creates extra work.

Hello,

I'm afraid that HikaShop is not really concerned by your request since it's related to the Joomla routing system.
Joomla needs a "menu" to know which component is used and which component it needs to load and call.
Otherwise, you'll need a routing component (also called a SEF component) which will do that work for you.
