I think that nothing is absolutely required, maybe your E-shop Business needs to strengthening the SEO maybe not...
Without more elements it's hard to answer you, and further Business Plan or Features consulting isn't really the point of this forum.

You are a hikashop designer. Perhaps, better than anyone, you know what the status of SEO hikashop is.

Hello,

HikaShop have SEO features but I got the impression that you mix-up SEO and SEF.
SH404SEF is compatible with HikaShop and provide extra features which can be interesting for SEF optimization compared to the Joomla core features.
