Category listing does not work

Hello,

The menu on my home page "Produits" is linked to a category listing.

1) When you click on it the categories show but all the products show as well on the page. I don't want the product listing to show on the category listing page. How can I remove this product listing?

2) Also, when you click on a category the link takes you to the appropriate listing of the products included in that category. And when one clicks on a product all the links are wrong henceforth. Either the link attached to a product is broken or takes you back to the home page or to some inappropriate page instead of taking the customer to the product description page. Can you please explain what is going on?

I re-registered all the products and it solved the number 2). But I still don't understand what went wrong.

1. It's actually not possible as the goal of category listing is to list products part of displayed categories.
