Explorer in left pane

I don't know if this is in the right category but here it goes:

Would it be possible to fully collapse the explorer overview when entering the product or category overview page?
Something like the attachement?

We have so many catgeories for 40K products that we continuesly have to scroll down a long way to get to the right category...

Hi,

We auto open the first 2 levels to make it easier for merchants to access their sub categories without having to open them each time.

So there is no option on the interface for that.
However, there is a hidden option to change the default depth of the explorer.
You can open the hikashop_config table with your phpmyadmin and add an entry with the namekey explorer_default_depth and the value 1 if you want only 1 level of depth instead of the default 2 value.
