Products display at foot of category page

I have a Category Listing menu option on my website, Categories Listing , using Hikashop Essential version. After the categories list is finished, all the individual products display on the category list page. I have a test site loaded using the starter version of Hikashop where this does not happen. Only Categories are listed, as expected. The menu, Hikashop configuration, etc are identical on both installs. How do I prevent the products from displaying on the Categories page? I have tried every possible combination of settings, but must clearly be missing something.
