Manufacturer Page Display

-- Joomla version -- : 3.8.12
-- PHP version -- : 5.6.37
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome 68.0.3440.106
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : No Error

I used to have a manufacturer page that displayed everything by them. Here I call it artists but I can't seem to get that page back up. Is there a way to display all the manufacturers on one page?

Hi,

Sure. Create a menu item of the type "HikaShop category listing" via the Joomla menu manager, and in the "main category" setting of that menu item, select the "brand" main category.
The menu item will then automatically display the brands under that main brand category.

I have tried that and it still not working. Comes up with product categories.

I have renamed brand to Artists but there you can see it is switched

Strange, can you show us your categories tree and maybe show us the way you have configure your category because right now I don't understand how you can have this result.

Hi,

I see that you have actually a really old version of HikaShop on your website, the 2.6.3.
So it's possible that it comes from that, especially if you're up to date with your Joomla as Joomla made changes in the way the options are loaded for menu items in the 3.8.9 which requires changes on our end:

I guess that updating your HikaShop to the latest version would fix the issue.

This ended up causing a 500 error

This is what I found int the logs

Undefined variable: text in ********************/templates/forte/html/com_hikashop/product/quantity.php on line 124

This is the code from that file

Hello,

Your error is not a Fatal error but a warning coming from a view override in your template.
That is unfortunately not the fatal error and you should activate temporally the Joomla debug mode (in the Joomla global configuration) in order to see directly the error message in your website.
