Hi,

Is it normal that in this case :

List of categories :
A
....→ Aa
............→ Aa1
....→ Ab

And with these products :
Product 1 categories : A // Aa // Aa1
Product 2 categories : Aa1

That when I select the category A with 'all sub elements', I see only the product 1 ?
Do I need to add all parent categories ? Because I don't see any difference between 'direct sub elements' and 'all sub elements' (frontend and backend).

Thanks in advance.

Note : There is maybe a similar problem here : www.hikashop.com/forum/product-category-...-not-displaying.html

Hi,

The difference between 'direct sub elements' and 'all sub elements' is presicely to display either only the products directly in the main category of the page (so A), or the products of the main category and all its sub categories (Az, Ab, Aa1, etc).
This is working fine for me and has worked fine for years.
So I'm suspecting there is something else you're missing.
I would need the URL of the page and screenshot of the settings under the "products options" and "categories options" tabs of the corresponding menu item to better understand the situation.

Hi,

This indicates a problem with your categories tree data which must be "corrupted". Click on the "rebuild" button of the categories listing and it should help.
