Cannot add CMS content to Variants

-- HikaShop version -- : 5.1.1
-- Joomla version -- : 4.4.9

Clean install of Joomla and Hikashop.

I can add CMS elements (e.g.; images from the media manager) to product descriptions, but the CMS menu does not respond when editing variants. The menu is available, but it is unresponsive to clicks.

My goal: since the variants are different sizes of the same product I would like to have different descriptions and photos as well (example: small: make as good snack; large: enough to feed a football team)

Followed up on another thread and cleared my browser cache; conflicting versions of the (TinyMCE) editor were the culprit.

HikaShop is great.
