Pop When Adding To Cart

Hi

When adding to cart there is a pop up on the mini cart "Product Successfully Added To Cart". Is there a way to hide this notification altogether please?

Yes. You can do that by changing the settings of the "HikaShop cart notification plugin" via the Joomla plugins manager.

I have tried all of the options there. If I turn it off then it appears again where I have the cart module. I cannot see an option to disable it.

Hi,

So it's not the "popup" the problem ? You don't want the message that the product has been added to the cart anywhere ?
In that case, after disabling this plugin, you can use a translation override to empty the message. Without any text, the message won't be displayed.

I don't want the pop up at all, is tht possible? Language override removed the text but it still shows the product name with a photo.

Hi,

Did you disable the HikaShop cart notification plugin via the Joomla plugins manager as I said in my previous message ?
It's this plugin which displays this blue notification. So if you see it I can only think that you didn't disable the plugin.
Can you check ?

Hi,

I can see the javascript file /plugins/hikashop/cartnotify/media/notify.js of the plugin on your pages:

That's the file which handles the popup display after an add to cart. And this file is only added to pages by this plugin.
Are you looking at the correct website backend ?
Could it be you have some page caching activated on your website which would prevent you from seeing the change ?

If both of these possibilities don't help, then I can only ask you to provide a backend access via our contact form so that we can check things out :

Hi,

It turns out that it's an issue following another improvement we made last year to allow add to cart tags to use the cart notification popups even on pages where HikaShop is not loaded. That system would load the plugin without checking whether it is enabled or not.
I've made a patch in order to fix this and added it to the website for which you provided the access. I can confirm that it fixes the problem.
For anyone else with the issue, I've also added the patch in HikaShop. So you can download the install package of the latest version on our website and install it on yours in order to get the patch.
