How to have different custom field for different product?

Hi
Imagine I have different product type for example mobile phone and another product type for example children Toys . For mobile type need set of custom fields A and for children Toys need set of custom fields B. How to implement that?
I can put different product type in specific category or specific vendor. Please explain about that is ot possible use different product custom fields according to hikashop category or according vendors.

Hi,

I don't see a problem with that. If you edit a custom field of the table "product" via the menu Display>Custom fields, you can see a "categories" setting under the "restrictions" area where you can select one or several categories. If you do, the custom field will only be available for the products of these categories.
