Hi,
I have migrated a Joomla website with Hikashop from Joomla 3 to Joomla 5, not with the automatic Joomla upgrade, by creating a new site and then importing content. I installed Hikashop and imported products and modules successfully. On the new site, the template is Yootheme Pro.

Hikashop products are correctly displayed in pages generated by menu items. But when they are in a module, they are not displayed unless the module is itself in a Hikashop page.

In other words: if the Hikashop content module is shown in a "normal" page (such as an article), nothing is displayed; In a Hikashop component page (such as HS Products page), the same module correctly displays products.

How can this be fixed?

Hi,

Please check the following settings:

1. Module assignment: In Joomla, go to Content > Site Modules and edit your HikaShop module. In the "Menu Assignment" tab, make sure the module is assigned to display on the pages where you want it to appear (either "On all pages" or specifically select the pages).

2. Module position: Verify that the module position you're using exists in your YOOtheme Pro template for those specific pages. Some template positions may only be available on certain page types.

3. Target menu item: In the module's HikaShop options, check the "Menu" setting. This setting determines which HikaShop menu item will be used for product links. If this is not set or points to an invalid menu item, it could cause display issues. You want to select a products listing menu item in there.

If you can access the page source (right-click > View Source) on a non-HikaShop page where the module should appear, check if the module HTML is present but perhaps hidden, or if it's completely absent from the output.

If all this doesn't help, it would be great if you could provide the URL of a page where the module is supposed to be displayed, and screenshots of its settings.
