YT video it is removed from product images

Hi nicolas,

I’m having an issue with the new video functionality in HikaShop, where videos can be added using YouTube URLs.
I’m aware that the issue is most likely not related to HikaShop itself, because I have tested the exact same HikaShop version on another test website, and the videos are displayed correctly there.

On the main website however, the videos are not displayed at all.
While investigating the issue, I noticed that the following element, which seems to be generated by HikaShop for the videos:

<div id="hikashop_preloaded_videos">
is completely missing from the DOM.

I have also tried removing the template currently used on the production website and switching to the default Joomla Cassiopeia template, but the issue persists. This makes me think that the problem may be caused by something else on the website, such as another extension, a system plugin, JavaScript conflict, or some configuration specific to this installation.

To make troubleshooting easier, I have taken a backup of the affected website and restored it on my personal hosting, so I can provide access to the website and let you investigate the issue directly.

Thanks for the copy of the site, it made it easy to find. It is a bug in HikaShop: when the "Force size" option of the images is off and the main image of the product page is larger than the video thumbnail, the video data was lost while preparing the thumbnail, so only the thumbnail was displayed, with a broken address. Your test site probably has different image settings, which is why it worked there.

We fixed it and I reproduced your case locally to check the fix. It will be in the next version of HikaShop. Until then, you can download the HikaShop 6.6.0 package again from your account and install it over your current version: it includes the fix. Turning on "Force size" in the image settings of the HikaShop configuration should also make the video appear in the meantime.
