Reports and statistics

hi

im using hikashop plus hikamarket.

i just want to check if it is now possible to display the reports from the back end to the front end

Hi,

The report system in the HikaShop backend is not compatible with the front-end (or with add-ons).
That is why HikaMarket have his own statistics/report system in the front-end and that system has been integrated into HikaShop 3.

For the moment there is no interface to configure and create new reports but it is possible to create them using view overrides or custom plugins.
The statistics system in HikaMarket is very flexible and his allow to use any kind of SQL query to retrieve some data (while the HikaShop report system have an algorithm which will generate queries depending a configuration).

Once HikaShop 3 and the statistic system will be integrated ; it is plan to work on a configuration interface which will allow to generate new blocks. Maybe we will find a good interface to simplify the report generation without needed to write some SQL queries, it will highly depends on the feedback and ideas we will receive.
