Which Monthly TOTAL is Correct?

My client sent this screenshot of the Dashboard.

Which Monthly TOTAL is the correct total?
And why are both different?

Hello,

Both are correct but they indicates different mesures.
"Order this month" is based on the "past month" (last ~30 days) and not "this month".
The order graph use a SQL query which will aggregate the orders depending the date format you chose.

Afterwards, the queries are affected by the settings of your order statuses (system > order statuses).

Thank you for the explanation.

It would be great if that data was somewhere on the reports:
"Last 30-days" or "Last Calendar Month"

Users are not programmers. 'Month' means Calendar month.

I cannot see nor change any of the parameters for the DASHBOARD statistics.
The REPORTS section does not control those displays.

Something is still not right in the totals.

Hello,

1 - Like I wrote, it's not really "last 30 days", it's the past month.

2 - If you want to use the Reports, you need to activate the legacy dashboard in the HikaShop configuration.
Improvements for the new dashboard is in our TODO list but is not ready yet.
