No correlation between orders and reports

Hello,

We are trying to generate a sales report but no matter what setting we try, the reports are wrong and with no correlation to the actual sales when exported from the orders. The total amount is off, the orders number is off.

Hi,

Well, everything matches on our end. So we would need more information on how you configure your reports, like screenshots of their settings.
Also, a backend access would help so that we could look at the mysql query generated for the report.

Hello Nicolas,

I've made several attempts and managed to understand the issue on our end. I'm trying to generate a sales report for a single day. No matter what I select from the settings, the day is broken into two days. This causes disorder when we try to generate a report for several days or a week report.

Hi,

This indicates an issue with the timezones. Can you check that the timezone of your server, in your Joomla configuration and in your Joomla user account all match up ?

Hi,

That was the first thing I suspected off. Checked the time zone and it was correct, as well as the Joomla configuration time zone. In addition, orders arrive at the right time.

Hello,

What are your time zone settings ?
HikaShop store the timestamp in the database to avoid timezone issues ; the display is then made via Joomla and its timezone.
Regarding the reports ; maybe an important timezone could generate an issue in your side and, before we only have 2 hours in our end, the issues are not visible.
So, knowing more about your timezone setting would help us to see where we should take a look.

Hello,

I reproduced your configuration and was able to see a small timestamp sliding regarding the timezone.
I worked on a patch, unfortunately that patch have too many modifications in the widget system to be listed in the forum here.
So I prefer to include it in a future package of HikaShop 4.0.1

But the main idea of the patch is the same system that we have for the new dashboard system ; get the timezone value and process the dates using "gmmktime" and subtract the timezone value.
