Order summary export

-- HikaShop version -- : 4.0.0
-- Joomla version -- : 3.8.12
-- PHP version -- : 5.6.37
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Chrome

When i export the table of order summaries from hikashop many of the orders are not listing the product ordered. This export summary is needed so we can reconcile our accounts but with missing details we cannot do this.

When i go into an individual order the product ordered is shown. It is too time consuming to go into each order to achieve this. We should be able to see this information in the complete report

Is there a chance i need to make at this end

Hi,

I'm not sure what you mean. If you click on the "export" button of the orders listing in the backend the CSV you get contains all the information of all the products in the order.
But maybe you're talking about something else ?

you are right it should do - but for some of my orders the report is missing the products in the order - ie the product information is not showing even though the rest of the order information is showing in the report.

For the orders that are missing information in the report, If i open up the order directly within hikashop it does show all the information including the product ordered.

Why is the report missing this information for some orders?

Hi,

I checked the code on my end and I can't find any reason why such a thing would be possible unless the code has been modified.
Could you provide a backend access, a FTP access and the order number for which you have the problem so that we can look into it ?

Hi,

We received your access.
So I did a test and exported your orders in order to get the CSV. Unfortunately, I don't see the problem you're talking about. All three orders you mention in your email are listed with their product in the CSV:

You can see the arrow for the search of the order_number, the arrow for the product quantity and the arrow for the product code.
So either I didn't understand what your problem is or you've missed the data in the CSV file.

i definitely have blank fields inc missing the product details. in my export.

To create the export i am following these steps:
Via Hikashop > Orders

Select all the orders listed and then select export.

See the attached screen grab (the highlighted rows are missing data)

For the orders 2525, 2526 and 2527 I do have data for the items.

Are you sure that you do not have an issue with the software you're using to open the CSV file ?

I am using excel to open the csv file
Due to data privacy - can I pm you a download and 2 screen shots - this is definitely an issue with exports here.

how/where should i send this?

You can send us your data but regarding the situation ; I'm afraid that there is no visible issue with the export since Nicolas and myself were able to get the export without any missing data.

I need to send a couple screen shots and attachments - it is making no sense why it works for you and not for me - i am hoping the screen shots will help - how can i confidentially send these - you can not attach anything to the contact form
