We have configured the UPS shipping plugin with all the correct info and everything is working except the plugin is pulling in the wrong prices for deliveries - how can we fix this?

Hello,

Your issue is probably coming from the way you configured :
- "Group packages", "Negotiated rate", "Exclude dimensions", and "Weight/Dimmnsion approximation" options of your UPS shipping configuration page via "Hikashop->System->Shipping methods"
- Your product dimensions and weight

Also, UPS shipping methods will only :
- Send order information to the UPS platform
- Receive rates from the UPS platform
- Display them.

We don't have any control on rates returned from the UPS platform.

Kind regards,
Mohamed Thelji.

Thanks - see my settings screen shot attached. Is anything wrong? We have not added dimensions to products as they are really heavy so would never volume out for the weight, but could this be the issue. Any help appreciated.

Hello,

Your issue is coming from the way you have configured the "State / Province code" option of your UPS warehouse tab, you should probably set it to "JI" instead of "east sussex".

Kind regards,
Mohamed Thelji

Tried this - it did not change anything so changed it back to East Sussex (what does JI stand for anyway?)

I think I fixed it by changing the pickup type to One time from Daily - see attached - again I am not sure what the difference is but it is displaying a more realistic price.

Hello,

"JI" seems to be the state/province code of "East Sussex" :
www.factiva.com/CP_Developer/ProductHelp...e_province_table.htm

That option will need a state/province code, not a name as explained in their developer documentation.

Also regarding the fact that the plugin seems to be pulling in wrong prices for deliveries in your end, un-setting the "weight approximation" option will probably help.
In your case the weight that will be sent to the UPS platform will be equals to Your_Order_Weight + 5% of Your_Order_Weight.

Kind regards,
Mohamed Thelji.

Thanks - it seems to be working OK from our side - thanks for your help so far.

But - I can't see anything transferring to the UPS site. I mark as shipped or confirmed and I can't see anything on on clients UPS account???

Hello,

Yes, that's because the UPS shipping methods will only :
- Send order information to the UPS platform
- Receive rates from the UPS platform
- Display them.

So that shipping prices will be dynamically calculated on your website.

Kind regards,
Mohamed Thelji.
