Hello,

I just bought weights add-on.
I have enable it and used the same inputs as my previous shipping methods and still, I cant see the new shipping method when I order something.

Also, I would like to ask about the price per kg:
For example, I restrict the cost as: 1kg-->2€ and 2kg-->2.50€. If a client order products with 1.5kg weight, he will pay 2.50€?

Thank you in advance.

Hello,

The weight shipping plugin allow to configure fast some price range based on the cart weight.
We created that plugin while developing the "Mondial Relay" and "Colissimo" shipping methods ; since they have a defined rates based on the weight.

So yes, the behavior you're describing is what the plugin is doing.

Regarding

I have enable it and used the same inputs as my previous shipping methods and still, I cant see the new shipping method when I order something.

I would need more details about your plugin configuration and the issue you have in the checkout.
Like that I can't tell if the problem is related to the plugin or maybe just the HikaShop configuration (or product configuration).

Hello,

I attach images on configuration and on configuration overflow. Basicly, I kept the same settings as my previous shipping methedos before the plugin.

Thank you very much.

Hello,

Your method is not publish.
I can also see that you have a "base price" and you do not handle weights below 1kg.
By changing these points, it should improve the display.

Hello,

I have unpublished it because I had to work with the current shipping methods.
When I tested, I had 0kg in price set. Also, I need to sum up the base price and the extra kilos above a specific weight, that is why I use base price.
If I keep base price and set up a price list from 0kg to my max kilos, everything will be fine? The plugin will add the base price and the exta weight for the price list?

Thank you in advance.

Hello,

The first price configured define what will be the shipping price between "0" and the weight you set-up (1kg in your case).
But in that row you put "0€". And you also used "0€" for the other lines.
You can remove the lines which have the same price.

And yes, the base price is added every time. That option is interesting when you have dynamic shipping methods such as "UPS" or "Fedex" but is less intuitive with the "weight plugin" since you configure every price for every weight range.
The reading of the configuration is more complicated because for each weight line you need to add the base price to get the final value.

In HikaShop, if your cart do not have a weight "0kg", it will be considered as "virtual product" which do not require any shipping.
You need to force the shipping regardless the weight ; but in such configuration the usage of the "weight plugin" is not required because all your carts will be "0kg" and have the same shipping price.
As previously said, without knowing how your products are configured, I can't tell
